Autumn inspiration – some stylish ideas for your home decor
I really like autumn.
Most of all I like those days when I can wear some cozy woolen jacket, have some tea on the balcony or a good cup of coffee in front of my favourite café and catch some sun beams, although the air is already chilly.
I also like it, when it’s stormy outside and the colourful leaves are flying madly through the streets. I prefer being at home on those days, with lit candles, some music and the ever sleeping cat lying next to the radiator.
And of course those days are perfect for a little crafty afternoon and making some autumnal decorations for our home.
I’m not a big fan of flamboyant and kitschy decor and try to keep it simple.
A collection of inspirational projects you can find on my autumn-decor-themed Pinterest board. Some of the ideas displayed there I already tried and will definitely repeat them this autumn.
First of all those lovely painted acorns I found some years ago at Fräulein Klein’s blog. I absolutely need those around this year again!
Most of the stuff you need for a nice autumnal decor you can find outdoors, at the park for example.
So you can easily collect all the acorns, pine cones, leaves you need on a nice walk on one of those sunny days I mentioned before and you’ll have everything at home when the stormy and rainy days come. That’s great, right?
Autumn is going to be awesome!
What do you like most about autumn and how do you decorate your home? I’m looking forward to your comments! :)
