Did anybody say „wedding“ ? Here’s an update!
It’s the so called „merry month of May“.
Some of my fellow brides-to-be are already married and so will my fiancé and I be pretty soon, in August, to be more specific.
Our planning is on full speed and day after day there are more tiny check marks on our not so short to do list.
We’re putting our money where our mouth is (not our money, actually…haha), make decisions, are open to help and advice the experts are providing us, know what we want and try to be as easygoing as we can be.
And that’s how the party should be: easygoing, laid-back, not too solemn. Actually it’s not that easy to communicate, especially to caterers… „wedding“ and „laid-back“ is rarely asked for, apparently ;)
Besides our location and food we already picked beautiful wedding rings, tasted several cakes and even ordered one, found a photographer, I have different options concerning my shoes (who would’ve thought…) and both a plan B and C regarding my hair do, I ordered my dress (and paid it already, oh dear) and got the whole flower stuff started.
Next thing to do is send out the „real“ invitations, right when we finalized the day’s agenda.
Of course „Bridezilla“ visited occasionally and I thought about having a party with potato salad and frankfurters at home.
But after we got a bunch of things organized now it’s all going pretty swimmingly and I can’t wait to show you how it went afterwards. It’s going to be great!
If you’d like to get i tiny impression of how the party will look like, I made a wedding moodboard on Pinterest, where you can have a sneak peak :)
